HISTORY

In November 1986, a new small engine spare parts distribution company was established. Sylvain Farly and Jean-Marie Farly are the pioneers, supported by the expertise of Mr. Garcia Béliveau.

At that time, the company distinguished itself and built itself by travelling by truck through different regions such as Abitibi, Lac St-Jean, Quebec City, Sherbrooke and Gaspésie are the first to join the DRS family. Step by step, Distribution RS Inc. grew up. New Brunswick joined our ranks, as did Europe and the United States in 1997.

In the early 1990s, major changes took place, representatives travelled the roads to promote our products and the computerization of our system enabled us to control our inventory and improve our customer service. Distribution RS Inc. is constantly expanding and has seen its clientele increase from 60 to more than 1 000 customers.

Spring 1999, the company is further improving its performance by rejuvenating its computer equipment, remodeling the interior of its building and hiring specialized staff to better serve you.

Distribution RS is proud to celebrate its 35th anniversary with the release of this new catalogue version which has been a little delayed. We are proud to continue the expansion of our company with the sale of equipment and the continuous improvement of our customer service. The RS Distribution team thanks you for your confidence and loyal business over those years, we have been able to build a company that meets your needs.

Objectives and projects
We are full of new ideas and projects for the future of the company. We already establish a document to track complaints and technical issues related to our products. This allows us to react quickly and maintain quality parts. We have also designed products in-house and we are open for any development suggestions to offer more new products tailored to your needs. One of our major upcoming projects is the complete redesign of our website to provide you with as much information as possible.

We grew up in a strong family relationship and we want the same type of connection with all our customers. This is why it’s important for us to meet you all in person following the launch of this new 2021 catalog. As you can see, there is no shortage of projects. We are proud to present our new catalogue, highly anticipated and on which we participated a lot in the conception.
